Go Green Living - How to Reduce Emissions With ECOMATES
Posted On 06/26/2010 12:14:28

No doubt you've seen the recent reports on the Great Oil Spill in The Gulf of Mexico. Like me and so many others right now, you're probably sick and tired of it. Right? You're sick of the way we're treating our Planet and you want to pitch in and do your part to help clean things up. You're tired of sitting back and watching as we continue to pollute ourselves to death and you want to learn more about ways you can help. Well, that's great.

But what can you do? How can just one person do anything to help, you ask? Plenty...That's what! There are literally hundreds of simple things each of us can do everyday to collectively have a huge impact.

First things first though. Right now, you're probably asking yourself, just exactly who are these ECOMATES, and, how will they help me to reduce emissions? Both great questions.

In this article, we'll answer some frequently asked questions about carbon emissions. We'll examine the largest contributing factors to C02 emissions, and we'll take an in-depth look into ECOMATES and find out just how they can help each of us clean up the air we breathe.

What are Carbon Emissions?

Carbon emissions are also known as greenhouse gasses. These are gasses within the atmosphere that absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range. Water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone combine to make up the main greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere.

As a direct result of human activity, especially the burning of carbon-based fuels, the levels of Carbon dioxide (C02) are climbing at an alarming rate. Many scientists around the globe believe these rising levels of CO2 are resulting in global warming.

What are Fossil Fuels?

Oil, coal and natural gas are all considered fossil fuels because they are formed from the remains of plants and animals living millions of years ago. All fossil fuels are made up of hydrocarbons, and release carbon dioxide when burned.

Fossil fuels are currently the primary source for almost 80% of the industrial world's energy. These are non-renewable resources that will eventually run out. Especially if BP has anything to do with it. Scientists agree, if we want to avoid continued dangerous climate change, we need to switch to renewable energy sources sooner than later.

Who Burns the Most C02

The industrialized nations on this planet have all burned fossil fuels for quite some time. They are all responsible for most of the human-caused carbon dioxide pollution in our atmosphere. Among the world's top economies, the U.S. stands out as a top polluter. Americans are responsible for nearly a quarter of global emissions of carbon dioxide.

Ultimately, C02 emissions come from people. Someone driving a gas-guzzling automobile is burning more fossil fuels than someone driving a new hybrid or highly efficient car. As individuals, we all have a responsibility to help protect our environment by making smart choices, pushing corporations to create market solutions, and demanding that our governments protect our shared climate.

Who are the ECOMATES?

Pre-launched on Earth Day, April 22, 2009, ECOMATES develops and markets scientifically formulated Green products, distributed through a person-to-person network, creating environmental and economical, green opportunities for all.

For some, the idea of going green and helping the environment is too big. Can one's individual efforts really make a difference? The answer is, Absolutely! The ECOMATES platform is designed to allow each individual to start from where they are right now, to ensure that every effort is making a positive difference as we collectively shift into green.

How Can ECOMATES Help Reduce Emissions?

ECOMATES is the distribution arm of Ethos Environmental, Inc., an environmentally-friendly fuel and oil additive manufacturer based in San Diego, California. After over 10 years of research, development and testing, Ethos FR and FR+ have emerged as the leader in fuel re-formulators, reducing emissions output and increasing fuel efficiency.

According to the California Environmental Engineering Lab (CEE) Research Director, Joe Jones, "The results of using the Ethos FR+ product showed significant improvement in lowering the tailpipe emissions and improving fuel economy." Both gasoline-fueled and diesel-fueled engines benefit from using Ethos. Ethos has been proven to only reduce emissions but increase fuel mileage by as much as 7% - 19% saving consumers more than it costs.

Now I don't know about you, but when a product comes along that is proven to save more money than it costs, it only makes sense to use it. More importantly, when a product comes along that has also been proven to dramatically reduce emissions, why wouldn't you use it?

In conclusion. C02 carbon emissions are BAD. ECOMATES is GOOD!

Green Home Business in 2010: What's in it for you?
Posted On 12/26/2009 16:25:52

For many of us, the Holiday Season can be a dynamic  and challenging time of year.

I'm not really sure what it is...Perhaps it's the ending of a year and the uncertainty of a new one...Could be seeing all those friends and family members that only seem to come 'round when the sleigh bells are jingling...Maybe it's just the memories of all our previous years and the unfulfilled goals we always seem to set for ourselves.

What ever it is, for me, the Holiday Season always conjures up self reflection.

It never seems to fail that I catch myself looking within, examining where I am, and where I've been. Looking outward to see where I'm headed, and what the path ahead looks like. This year, it's no different...This year, I'm once agiain examining where I am right now, what got me here, and where I'm headed.

This year, however, unlike any other year before, I have a new vision. I have a new hope, and I have my 'Why'....

Something is different this year. My entire life has lead me to this very point in time. To this very doorway into my future. The decisions I have made along the way have all culminated at this exact momement which represents me...Here, now...

With all the changes of 2009 now behind me, I find myself moving forward at light speed, onto brand new horizons. I've commetted myself to a new path which offers me a hope and a focus I've never had. There is something about the empowerment we get when we've gone out on a limb, trusting in something simply because we believe we can.

Sometimes, some people do extraordinary things. Most times, most people do normal things.

To committ to yourself and reach for the things that most will tell you are beyond  you, is to allow yourself the ability to attain the things that most will not.

To push yourself beyond your preconceived limitaitons into a realm of newness is true growth. To teach yourself new skills and strive for improvement is real life.

As the new year approaches, allow yourself the chance to look within. Ask yourself what you're willing to do for you to make this year your best yet. Ask yourself the real questions that only you know how to ask. How much are you willing to do this year for you?

If you're ready to dive deeper into this self-examination process and begin to learn more about who you really are, if you want to team up with a real mentor and learn how to prosper while helping others, step up to http://mitchelldillman.com/partner-with-mitchell/ I'm committed to personal growth, financial freedom and a sustainable way of life, and I'd like nothing more than to help you find your 'why'.

Introducing Eco Warrior, Mitchell Dillman
Posted On 11/06/2009 02:45:25

Greetings all.

Newest member here, Mitchell Dillman, Eco Warrior... Just want to take a minute to introduce myself and give a brief background. It's always been my belief that if you want to know where someone is headed you should know where they're coming from.

After spending the better part of the last 25 years of my life as a carpenter/contractor, building custom homes, I have the 'booming' economy to thank for kicking me in the Butt, waking me up and getting me moving up a new trail of sustainability.

As a youth I was introduced to the importance of conservation while working with the USDA Forest Service in both the Youth and Young Adult Conservation Corp. I have a vivid memory of sitting next to John Denver one cold December morning in 1976, riding a ski lift and discussing how we needed to start taking better care of our Planet...What have we done?

At the beginning of 2009 I found myself having to lay-off my small crew of hard working and talented carpenters and friends, had to drop the Insurance that had become an albatross around my neck and I was left standing there wondering what the heck I was going to do next...

Through a progression of what I thought to be a series of unrelated events I now realize and have truly internalized the old expression, 'when one door slams shut, another glides easily open.'

Now armed with with a new mission, a burning passion, and purpose, I have assembled an array of environmentally friendly, innovative and cost saving products and I have embarked up a brand new trail.

Realizing that all home-based businesses are inherently sustainable and eco-friendly by nature, I have turned from being a home builder to a home business builder creating Wealth and Personal Growth in others while promoting sustainability World Wide.

After spending the past six months tirelessly assembling a complete portfolio of products and services designed to allow anyone from any back ground the ability to easily start their own 'green' home business. DillmanSolutions offers the education, training and support needed to succeed in the world of On-line Marketing.

As we continue to get set up I urge you all to leave me comments and questions. I am here to entice dialog and offer solutions to many of our worlds' demanding environmental issues. We have just started to organize The Pikes Peak Green Team here in Colorado Springs and welcome any advice and counsel on its development. Pardon the mess at my sites as we are still under construction but don't hesitate to drop by and take a look.

I look forward to hearing from you all and will be happy to help out any way I can. It is my ardent desire to leave my little piece of the planet in better shape than it was when I got here and to help out as many people as I can along the way.

Even baby steps are steps and with steps we can begin to create change and with change perhaps we can make a real difference...

Sincerly,

Mitchell Dillman
