I'm very interested in starting a farm... I'm thinking towards a CSA... I know of a farm that is being sold that was primarily animals cared for in a loving way, grass fed highlanders, rotated crop chickens, burrowing pigs, outdoor turkeys, ducks, dogs, cats, and a 30 x 50 or so vege garden and then some and perrenials/herbs. I would basically want to start with a vege/fruit/herb farm. There are some berry bushes and a couple fruit trees. I was thinking of making some of the acreage into strawberries for open to public picking. There is 26 acres until I could get a CSA going. Open for comments...
