All the clap trap spouted about zero population growth which fails to acknowledge natural systems of control and continues to push artificial means & selfish agendas.... do we really not learn from our past mistakes??

I worry that we are raising a generation who will not be able to survive easily as adults because we continue to teach them only how to live in this world as things are, & fail to prepare them for the realities of THEIR future & our own.
Sustainable systems now are not just good for their future repercussions upon climate & food production, they also endow the future generation with the skills & lessons we have forgotten & are now desperately trying to relearn.

I love my 'Green Johanna'... composting is great for the environment, the garden & my kids as it offers educational opportunity!

Reduce the amount of waste coming in to your household as well as what goes out by selecting produce carefully and choosing those which come with the least or most re-useable packaging.
Re-use as much as you can by finding creative & innovative things to do with surplus household items.
Re-cycle even those items which are not widely recycled in your area. Package them seperately and then include then with your usual items... if recycling companies get enough of these types of materials they will get on board more quickly & start to process them.
