To view amazing red dust storm footage that swept across the eastern Australian continent go to Sydney Morning Herald multimedia coverage at http://www.smh.com.au/multimedia/national/dust-storm-swallows-sydney/20090923-g19h.html

Awesome act of nature.. Sydney friends in their late 60s revealed they'd never seen anything like it in Sydney.. It started in South Australia and traveled to QLD, according to another friend's report by 2pm yesterday. So is this climate change related, or simply the awesome power of nature reminding us that we must respect the world around us - or both?!
